Kids Windsurf and Watersport Classes

Price: full day including lunch $85
Ages 8-16 Times: Daily throughout December and January

Includes: Land simulator training, loads of windsurfing, beach activities, windsurf races and prizes. Learn to tune a sail, stack out and pick the weather conditions just like a pro. Banana tube rides, exercise, adventure and learning of the ocean environment are just some of the things students will learn.

Windsurfing Instructor course

International certification to teach windsurfing. Mission Bay April 25 and 26, 2009. Two day course. Basic standard of sailing skills required- tack and gybe. 9:30am - 5pm. All equipment and wetsuits included. All participants of the course gain avenue to teach their own students and book clients with Mission Bay Watersport. $475

 

 

JET SKI OPERATORS COURSE- Mission Bay Watersports AGES: 12 + years
Learn to run, operate and maintain a jet ski. learn about the ocean environment and how to jet ski safely. Also covers towing and includes awsome banana tube rides, basic navagation, exercise and ohh by the way loads of jet skiing, turns and cool moves. Includes certificate and life time Jet ski discounts including access to offshore jet ski hire.

N.B. Children under 15years are not permitted to operate a jet ski on their own but will benefit greatly from the course and will not miss out on having as much fun.

KAYAK ADVENTURE COURSE- Casual one day courses from December 15 - Jan 23 AGES: 8-15years.
Learn to kayak into infinity and beyond, learn of ocean environment and how to become a strong, smooth kayaker. Includes free lunch and drinks. Also includes loads of exercise and full time care. Kids will get special rides including waterbike, banana tube or jet ski rides. Oh and loads of hanging at the beach.

Cost per day $85.00 AGES 9 - 15yrs. 7 Days. Discounts available for regulars.

WHAT TO BRING: wetsuit if you have one, we will provide if you dont have one, warm jacket, togs on under cloths, sunblock, hat, towel, medication.

ABOUT: In case of high winds course may be held at Okahu Bay 15mins walk along the bays towards the city. Safety plan assessed operation, Windsurfing New Zealand Accredited, on water ratios not exceeding prescribed ratios. life jackets and wetsuits provided. Safe, shallow water bay/beach operation. long time general manager Ryan Pausina 24yrs sailing Exp. 15 years professional coaching experience, NZWA trained instructor, coastguard regulated and certified operation.
