WINDSURF INSTRUCTION + RENTAL

LEARN WINDSURFING ON ONE OF THE FINEST BEACHES IN AUCKLAND

Windsurfing instruction has been the main focus of Mission Bay Watersports for the last twenty years.
We pride ourselves on being able to get anyone up and windsurfing through our four hour course, which covers everything you need to know in order to begin windsurfing on your own.
But even if you know how to windsurf already, you can easily just rent our gear and have fun on the water - without the hassle of rigging and transporting the gear. It's easy and convenient.
Wetsuits are provided free as we know many people traveling come without their wettie's and people new to the sport may not own one yet. If you require it, the safety boat can be there to help get you back to shore. Scroll down to the end of the page to get the prices and information about the gear...

You will first have a demonstration by your instructor and practice on the dry land simulator, before being coached on the water. After further land based teaching of more advanced techniques, you will then have continued coaching time on the water.

We also have briefer introductory sessions for those wishing to learn and practice the basics.

WINDSURF RENTAL

You can rent all our available windsurfers on an hourly or daily rate - from beginner gear to the famous double windsurfer!
Wetsuit, harness and life vest rental is included in the price! And even better, you don't have to rig up - it's all ready to go for you on the beach!

You can feel safe too - our rescue boat is always on the beach! There is just a $ 20 deposit taken for any gear damage or if the safety boat is needed for a rescue.

(Safety boat rescues are included in the price when taking lessons)
